How to find great craft and art?

A couple of blogs back we talked about buying local, finding artists when you visit new destinations. Here's a great way to go about it if you're in North Carolina... sign with the American Craft Week loyal and active participant, Art Connections with Sherry Masters.
The Asheville area is a renown artist haven and Sherry Masters knows the artists and area well. You can take a scheduled planned tour or you can have a tour personalized just for you. She will plan a tour to suit your interests and budget. You get to visit private studios, hidden gems and more. Noting beats hearing the story from the artist about why they create, what they do and how they do it. Spending personal time will be so worth it.
